Give us a call or send us an email and we can pencil you in for a desired date. We can hold your date for 1 week . We will email you a Rental Contract that very day you call or email us.
During that week it is important to sign your contract and email it or bring it to our offices along with your damage deposit and Rental Deposit.
Any dates not contracted within that week will be opened up to others.
Your booking deposit is due upon submission of your contract. The booking deposit is $500. All booking deposits are non-refundable and dates cannot be changed after booking.
However, we are making exceptions during this time of upheaval so please see our COVID-19 page.
Damage Deposits will be returned upon satisfactory inspection of all areas and equipment used within 45 days after the event date. Please remind your guests that any items belonging to the Chateau that are removed from the property must be paid for by the person signing the contract. This includes but is not limited to gaming consoles, games, pool table accessories, etc.
If police are summoned for violent or disruptive behavior, the full damage deposit is forfeit and any damages will be invoiced to the signer of Rental Contract.
The amount owing on your rental is due no later than 45 days before the scheduled event.
We will notify you 60 days before your event as a reminder.
If final payment is not received by designated time period then the damage deposit and booking deposit is forfeit and the date of the scheduled event will be opened up to others.
The Chateau du Nuage is fully permitted to operate and hold events within unincorporated King County.
Banquet Permits are the responsibility of the signer of the Rental Contract and only needed if alcohol is to be served by a licensed bartender at the event.

We are offering a NO FEE rescheduling 60 days prior to your event if it is to occur during Phase 1 or 2 of Washington State COVID-19 Restrictions.
Any cancellations prior to the scheduled event will result in forfeiture of all fees including forfeiture of the Damage Deposit. Booking deposits are non-refundable .
Smoking is allowed in our designated outside smoking area. However, due to the odor we do not allow marijuana on the premises.
No rice, confetti, birdseed, etc is allowed but we do allow bubbles and sparklers.
Please be courteous in regard to decorations. No decoration should be mounted in a permanent manner by use of staples, nails, etc.
Food and Drink must only be consumed and available in the specified Reception Dining area. There is no eating or drinking allowed near the piano or in the front room. The Chateau has a strict NO RED WINE on the main floor policy. Red wine can only be poured and consumed outside or in the Wine Tasting area downstairs.
Set up and clean up time is part of your venue rental hours (10am to 11pm). All clean-up must be completed by 11:30pm.
Please allow 2-3 hours of set up time before your event and at least 1 hour of cleanup time.
Our staff is in charge of set up and take down of all our own equipment. All other set up, take down, and removal of décor, gifts, rented equipment, and other belongings is the responsibility of the client. The Chateau and any employee of the Chateau are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
We will do our best to set aside and allow for pickup of items accidentally left behind but we will not be able to store items for longer than 7 days and such items if not picked up within that time frame will be donated to a charity of our choice.
The signer of the rental agreement must obtain a Banquet Permit at https://lcb.wa.gov/licensing/special-licenses-and-permits
The permit must be obtained and arrive via email or be delivered in person to our office at least 2 weeks before the scheduled event. Such permit will be displayed at the bar during the event.
All alcohol must only be dispensed by a licensed bartender employed by the hired caterer with the proper Liability Insurance.
No open party kegs or self serve alcohol is allowed on any of the premises at any time.
Legal responsibility and liability for any guest’s alcohol consumption rests with the individual obtaining the banquet permit and the client signing the agreement of use of Chateau dans les Nuage.
Alcohol service must end by 10pm.
